Why, thank you! =} I love their contrast with her coat...and I also love blue and turquoise for her. They're generally good colors for us redheads. ;D

*sputters* Those...those color combinations!! Egads!! I'm bookmarking that page, 'cause the next time I ever need a collar and leash set, I think I'll know where to look. The trouble will be in deciding!! XD

Bella had two new collars arrive in the post today, I'd ordered one and the second was one they put in as well as a gift. ;D She modelled both on her walk today. Also on her walk she made friends with a chihuahua (once she'd been convinced that it was in fact another dog that is!). upload photoupload picturesphoto hosting

LOL, it can take them a bit to accept such tiny creatures as fellow canines! XD Ulla probably still half-regards Lady Belle as prey...friendly prey that taunts her mercilessly and plays as ferociously as she and the boys do. ;D
Wow, snazzy collars!! I love the fuzzy edges of the blue one, looks so soft and comfy...and fuchsia & black is such a winning combination. +D

*sigh* I'm having collar issues! None of the collars I've got seem quite right for walks, training etc. Bella's purple one is too slow to tighten and she's slipped out of it once before when overly excited (usually it's OK, it takes a lot of effort for her to get out of it), and she's slipped out of the fuzzy one with ease as well (that one's not adjustable either), so I'd rather use something else for general use. Her fleece-lined one will be good once she's learnt to walk nicely on the lead- I'm hoping obedience lessons will help with this!- as it tightens, but is difficult to un-tighten. She does have the scruffy blue collar that she arrived with, which works well for obedience etc. but I don't want to put it under too much pressure on walks because it is quite old and I'd hate for it to break. I've ordered Bella a harness, hopefully that'll do the trick! In the meantime I'm walking her in her lovely purple collar, and training her in the blue one.... gosh, it was never so hard to find suitable walking equipment for Tiggy! www.dog-harnesses.co.uk/acatalog/Pink_Fleece_Dog_Harness.html

Oh, dear! Ulla's only slipped out of a collar once or maaaybe twice, years ago, and those were non-martingale ones. I've got a number of collars now...let me see... Martingale style: -Purple & green scroll -Purple & green satin -Red & gold satin -Teal feathered "Quick-Klip" style: -old neon yellow w/ orange embroidery -newer lime green w/ black embroidery I think that's it. She's wearing the first one now, but has been cycling through all of them. The quick-klips are convenient and work great as everyday around-the-house collars, but I usually switch to a martingale for extended walks or anytime I feel there's an increased risk of her slipping out. I really hope that harness arrives soon and does the trick for you guys, so the collar issue is less confounding. ^^; I LOVE harnesses. Without his, Rusty is virtually unwalkable. I bought one for Jack, but it's too small...but apparently too large for my aunt's Yorkie, so I'll have to return it, eheh. But Ulla loves hers!

I just love Ulla's harness! I'm very fond of 'autumny' colours. Her red collar looks super as well. Most of Bella's collars are alright for walking in, I've just yet to find one that's quite perfect! Actually, I bought a really nice collar for Arya as a gift, which I think would be just what Bella would need. Bella has very fine features, and a fine neck and head, even as Salukis go so is not easy to collar. :/

I am soooo happy to have that harness...I bought it years ago, and it seems they retired the design soon afterward. It's from a company called Lupine, sold by Drs. Foster & Smith. They're very well-made, durable, adjustable, machine washable, and always in a bunch of fun prints. (You just need to get the hang of putting them on, and then it's easy!) Rusty's is a camouflage pattern with bones, and the one I got for Jack but have to return has little rubber ducks and waves. ;D I guess it's all right, 'cause Jack walks just fine with his collar. Ulla enjoys her leaf pattern all year because we both adore anything to do with autumn, and it always looks great. I recently realized how well the red collar from Bob matches with it; it's as if he knew, and I'm pretty sure he didn't. xD
Oh, I see. Perhaps you should gift Bella with one of those as well, and hopefully that or the harness will turn out to be what she really needs.

I was browsing online, and I found an online store in Australia with Ulla's harness! How bizarre that they'd stock a US harness that isn't even made in the US anymore! Weird. I'm quite tempted... I've always admired that harness... They're selling it for 50% off as well! I may just have to add it to my order along with Bel's worming tablets.

WOW!! Amazing! Guess they discontinued that design here, but kept it going elsewhere. How unusual. Half off?! Double wow! Maybe it's on clearance, then. I would totally encourage you to get it, in that case. :3 It's awesome, and I think our girls are far enough apart to stand being dressed as twins. x}

Hehe, I think it's highly unlikely Ulla will suffer the indignity of being accused by copying 'some Saluki in Australia', lol. If anyone asks I'll have to tell them that Bella got the idea from Ulla, and is proudly spreading her impeccable fashion sense to the southern hemisphere! XD
