OK, I'll start! This is a great idea to start a forum! My name's Michele and my husband Joe and I are new to sighthounds, we have 2 Ibizan, a 1 year old and our newest is a 4 year old that was rehomed. We also have 3 Berger Picard, and their love of lure coursing led us to a breed that we can truly get into coursing competitions with! We show, course, and Rally with our dogs as our hobby and for fun whenever we can in UKC, AKC, and ApDT venues. I found this site through the fB group.

Hi and welcome! I do love Ibizan Hounds, they are so beautiful- I've only been lucky enough to meet one before unfortunatley. Can't wait to see some photos of your two! I've never seen a Berger Picard in person before, I don't think there are any in my country. What are they like? Lure coursing looks great fun for the dogs, I'd love to give it a go with Bella one day. I imagine an Ibizan would be quite a star at lure coursing!

Hello there, fellow Michele! I'm a double-L. Goodness, you have really interesting dogs! I absolutely love Ibizans and Picards. Very lovely, sweet, adorable, and wicked smart dogs, they both are. I really enjoyed your story; sounds as though you and all the dogs have a lot of excellent good fun with dog sports. I just love 'em all. My Saluki is a show girl and I've tried to get her interested in Agility. Coursing is something I know she could naturally excel at if I had any place to do it around here, or could construct my own course for her. Glad to hear about all those happy pups and activities.
