What are the funny little things that your hound does?
Aside from generally being a funny girl, Bella often seems bothered when I brush my teeth. She usually stands next to me and whines, I have no idea why!

XD Ulla certainly doesn't care for having her OWN teeth brushed, but sometimes she whines at me in the morning--presumably in an attempt to lead me downstairs to the laundry room, where the treats are kept! All day she'll lead you to one of two places--the laundry room, or one of the doors leading into the backyard. She is a generally eccentric, idiosyncratic doggie. I really like her self-conditioned habit of dashing upstairs and sitting in the hallway in front of my room every time the doorbell rings; I think she's always hoping that that makes the pizza guy give us food, lol. What else? She likes to sniff you in the ear, which feels and sounds awesome—but dislikes having it done in return, lol. She also winks at me in ways that seem to disprove the theory that dogs can’t understand the meaning of winks the way we do. She gets all wiggly, confused, and concerned when people start wrestling or fighting or climbing all over each other, lol. She’s a super-stealth dog, as in, she will appear or disappear from a room, leaving you completely baffled as to how she could possibly have done so without your notice. And—like her human mom, admittedly—she can be a very indecisive dog…yet you can always see her thinking. xDD Lately she’s sort of taken it upon herself to be the guard dog of the house, since we humans obviously don’t pay enough attention to everyone who walks past the house, Jack is a baby, and Rusty, well…she heard on “Dogs 101” that Brittanys are more likely to hold a burglar’s flashlight than fight them off, and she figures that no Pit Bull out there has anything on the potential ferocity and fierceness of a Saluki. ;p And people say that she looks like a rock star, goth, or punk dog due to her black “makeup,” hair streaks, and nails. xD

Hehe, they are such funny personalities! Bella needs to work on her stealth, we can hear her coming a mile off! Bella is our watchdog, always letting us know (with a very loud voice!) if someone comes near the house. Tiggy was more of the Rusty type, lol. I love how intimidating the Saluki bark sounds, it seems too big and scary for the dog making it! Love the hair streaks. xD

HAHAHA!! Perhaps Ullie can give her a few pointers on pouncing and other such stealthy activities. I mean, sometimes she'll sound much louder pounding down the steps or landing or running than you'd expect, but for the most part, she's pretty quiet. 'Til she decides to sound off, of course. Their voices CAN sound so huge and ferocious, especially if you walk by one at a show and s/he starts snarling and snapping from within a crate! Ulla looks truly scary when she starts doing that, too. Rusty tries to act all tough and protective sometimes, but it's too hard to take him seriously when he gets so barky--he's just too sweet and non-threatening, lol. Not to mention that even the play-growling seems to tickle his nose, because he's often sneezing in the middle of it. XD Me too! ^w^
