Bella hasn't realised that just because it's her birthday, doesn't mean she can be naughty! The little tinker chewed up one of my lovely old Enid Blyton storybooks that used to be my mother's, and almost ate a very expensive loaf of bread from the farmers' market. Naughty little girl!

She's had a lovely day so far, and loves her new toy. (She got a rabbit one for Christmas which she loves, so I got her a duck, they also make a fox one. I like them because they don't have stuffing in for her to pull out!)

Aroooooo, happy belated birthday to yooooouuu, pretty little lady! Hope you've enjoyed your first year on Earth! (But tsk tsk, shame on you for those very naughty deeds...:0) Ah, well. On your day it should've been easier than ever to get away with murder. ;P I love the stuffing-free toys! I got my guys a penguin for Christmas, and they all love and share and tug on it. Don't even mind the lack of a squeaker; it's perfect, and no potential mess! I was looking at a really cute dog-shaped one, too, but the penguin seemed appropriate as a holiday gift.

D'aww, I love how she unwrapped her present! =3 She seems to love ducks as much as rabbits.
I notice the sort of crimpy waves in her hair--that usually happens to Ulla's when it gets wet! =D
I feel as if I could just pet her right through the screen! She's so beautiful!
And hehe, Ulla's siblings are Jackson, Dawn, and Latifa. They're all tricolored; she was the only redhead. ^^

My naughty little madam has decided that DVD cases are now edible... and as I am typing this she is counter surfing. Miss Grizabella can be a cheeky thing! She is *mostly* a good girl though!

Bella was part of a mix coloured litter, Precious and Cali are grizzle, Lily (recently titled!!!) is cream, Ari and Twinkle are black-fringed-red and Stella is a beautiful brindle. I'm slightly in love with tris and reds at the moment. Funnily enough, Bella is the exact colour I imagined my first Saluki would be.

Oh, dear... Ulla is quite the gnarly counter-surfer. She practically looks like a human standing there (only prettier, lol.) She's still being a basically good girl, too, but now I think she's entering "that time of the year" again...she's started following people around and whining at them for no apparent reason (one of her worst habits anyway.) And Jack's just getting his nose into everything that's inappropriate for him, as usual. He's been chewing up the rug in the living room, which I happen to have chosen and love, so I'm rather unhappy about that.

Aw, wow, what a colorful litter! They must all be such lookers. I had been envisioning myself with a white (or very light cream) dog, but there was no color I would have *not* wanted. And while it wasn't exactly easy to choose between Ulla and her tri-colored sister, I had multiple reasons for picking her...and the black-fringed red (or "sable," as they seem to now call it?) is another shade I definitely favor. Besides, it lets us match (with Rusty too, somewhat), and everyone notices. ;D <3
