And also happy birthday Ari, Precious, Cali, Lilly, Twinkle and Stella! ;D Bella had a great day, I took her on her favourite walk and she had a lot of fun playing ball. I made her an excellent (if I do say so myself) cake from a recipe that I found online. It was a peanut butter, honey and carrot cake with cream cheese and vanilla frosting and bits of doggie treats on top. The cake was definitely a success, Bels LOVED it! Wait, it was an all-girl litter? Wow. Ulla, Rusty, Jack, and I are glad you had such an awesome day, Bella, and send our own happy wishes to you and your sisses!! I can't believe she's two already! ;D And boooooy, that is some cake...what a lucky dog!! I may have to try that recipe for Ullie when May comes around again. This past year she had a special doggie mushroom egg omelette, but a cake would be even more festive. She'll be seven; omd! There's no way that "seven-year rule" can be accurate, because she is so not approaching 49--she's MY dogter, dangit, not the other way 'round!! ;D That is definitely one delighted birthday girl. Love the hat and frosted nose! XD

Actually, six girls and one boy, Ari has lots of sisters! I can't believe she's two either, it's gone too quickly! She's still my baby, even if she's pretty much a 'grown up' now. Odd to think of my little girl being TWO. Good grief, seven! Where does time go? I used the recipe up the top for Bella's cake: www.dog-treat-recipe-exchange.com/dog-birthday-cake-recipes

Oh boy, was he outnumbered, poor pup! Six sisters and not a single brother with whom to commiserate, lol. Time does go by way too quickly!! I have no idea where the passing years slip away to, but they eventually seem to start blending into one another. When I was a kid, a year felt like a very long span of time, occasionally like an eternity...but as an adult I feel as if one can pass by in the blink of an eye. I still remember her first drive home when she was only four months old, and now, she's my 45-year-old (in traditional dog years) dogter...making me sound like at least a 65-year-old mom! XD I'm too young, I'm not ready for this!!! ;D Mmm, thanks for the recipes; definitely saving that site. They all sound incredibly tasty. 6:
