YouTube is starting to test timed emoji reactions on some channels April 1, 2022by Martin 6 YouTube has started testing a new feature that allows you to share reactions at the exact moment in a video. It consists of the feature of modern comments, which YouTube started testing last April, shortly after it removed the number of dislikes on some videos . This feature is currently available on a limited number of channels on the platform. According to a recent post from YouTube, the new Timed Reactions feature lets you easily post a reaction by opening the comments section and tapping the reaction bar at any given point in the video. The feature also shows you moments that other viewers are reacting to, but the reactions are anonymized. The following GIF shows how time-lapse reactions appear in videos.
Currently, YouTube is testing this feature with a large set of C Level Executive List reactions, including Heart, 100, question mark, light bulb, sun, and more. The platform plans to add or remove reactions as the experience progresses, so the feature may launch with a different set of reactions when it's finally ready. Timed YouTube emoji reactions are available Since the feedback feature is currently available on a small number of channels, you may not see it right away. But if you come across a supported video, you should see a pop-up highlighting the experimental feature. It's worth noting that this feature is not available in the experimental features section of YouTube on any of our devices, but your mileage may vary.
Unfortunately, Google has not released any information about the channels currently testing this feature. So, if you happen to find a video that supports this feature, be sure to leave a link in the comments to give other users a chance to experience the feature.
