Well, I think it's pretty fabulous (then again it's quite a bit more advanced than the little doodles for which I'm responsible!) And I feel as though I recognize that penetrating gaze...reminds me of some similarly colored dogs I've met. :] This one's soft and pettable-looking! ^^

A quick, not particularly realistic Saluki painting. It was fun to do though and I quite like it. Unfortunatley, one of my most useful paintbrushes broke shortly after I finished it, so the other painting that I'm half way through may be some time.

::EYEPOP:: That is SO something I would immediately have to buy for my walls if I saw it in a store. AH-MAY-ZING job...too bad it cost you a good paintbrush, though I think it's worth several brushes. >.<

Done yet another Saluki picture, I really don't like it and will redo it later. Thought I'd share it anyway. On an exciting note, it's just two more days until Bella arrives!!

Only two days until you bring your girl home?!? I can't believe it! ^w^ I remember exactly how thrilling it is!!
And I personally LOVE that angle and casually trotting pose, and everything about the dog. Looks realistic! But it's important for the artist to be happy with the work, so whatever improvements you decide to make will, I'm sure, make it even better.

Another Saluki-themed picture I've drawn, I'd been working on another one for several hours but the computer froze up while I was saving it and the file got corrupted. Rather than starting that one again I decided to do another one and come back to the original one (which was of an Afghan and a Saluki). So here's one of the two drawings finished, I'm really proud of it.

I'm sure it's in one of the subsections of Murphy's Law...computers always freeze at the WORST POSSIBLE moments. But even so, those are AMAZING. *gapes* The second one is beautiful and profound--I assume that's sand blowing around them in the desert? Or possibly a beach, but I figured desert. That looks awesome. The first one is so playful and sweet (and that little pup kinda reminds me of my girl, color-wise!); you can't look at it and not smile. What a pretty, peaceful, watercolory-looking backdrop, too!! Wow. You're right to be proud of those two masterpieces. :>

Salukis can be such fidgets when you're trying take photos- one needs a LOT of patience! I find using a treat helps when it comes to sitting and looking at the camera.

Ulla has a knack for getting out of the position I want to photograph RIGHT as I'm going to grab my camera. Fidgeting, losing interest, not wanting to look at the camera (probably thanks to the flash), and getting too close 'cause she's focused only on trying to chomp the bait are some of her main issues with photography. And yet, she's the most photogenic dog I've ever had, and rarely comes out looking less than awesome in her shots.
Oh, I do love me some partis. That one's got the "cookies-and-cream" coat pattern, as I call it. xD

She looks wistful and sad, but I love it! That's a really beautiful and emotionally evocative picture. The soft colors and backdrop that looks like dark rainclouds and a storm brewing in a big, wide sky are kind of...foreboding, but gorgeous...very nice one, for sure.

Thank you, I was trying to create that sort of atmosphere, I'm glad that it worked!
