Here's a painting I did of an Afghan, it didn't come out that well in this photo but I wanted to share it anyway. If anyone would like me to do a picture of their hound I'd be happy to, it's fun! ;D

*claps hands* Lovely, lovely, lovely!! ;D Ooooh, truly?!? That would mean a lot, to have a portrait done. I'll attach a photo in case you'd like to do one of her. ^___^ Oh, you can see her collar I was describing in there, too. :3 P.S. I just realized that the title of this site is just like the one I used a few years ago in college when my Mass Communications class had to create a theoretical website on some subject we knew about...I called mine "Simply Saluki." I'd love to do a picture of your girl, she is gorgeous! Her collar looks veeery nice as well.
I'll try to do the portrait over the weekend as I'm working tomorrow.
That sounds a terrific theoretical website! ;D

Here you go, I hope it is alright. The colours came out a bit funny in the scan.

I'm glad you like it, I don't think it came out very well in the scan. I might try scanning it again later to see if it turns out any better.

Aw, that's kind of you to offer. Of course, I don't know exactly how it looks in reality, but the scan is quite beautiful to me! I mean, the colors--wow! The popping red backdrop that harmonizes with the red and white of her coat...her eyes and collar and black fringes...and, of course, it's perfectly recognizable as a painted version of one of my very favorite photos of hers. <3

Here's a picture I did on Photoshop, I'm quite pleased with it. ;D (which is saying something as I tend to be hard on myself.) The whippie's face looks a bit off, but it's meant to be cartoonish so it doesn't need to be entirely accurate.

*gasp* A Whippet & a Saluki on a comfy-lookin' sofa?! Doesn't get any cuter or prettier than that! I love the soft pastel color scheme and the ripply/filtery effect of the light on the wall/backdrop. ^__^

I did this painting of Dazzler a couple of weeks ago in an art lesson that I was giving. I did it on a canvas pad which was a first for me, it's good because I can practise painting on canvas but can scan the pictures into the com[puter. As you can probably tell, it's the copied from the photo of him in my signature. I think I might do a Saluki picture next, no surprises there!
