Show off your dog's festive side here! With Halloween just behind us and Christmas on the way (certainly the shops are all gearing up for the silly season already) there should be plenty of pictures of dogs getting into the spirit of the holidays.

I'm rather pleased that Christmas is coming around so quickly, though I may have to get my act together soon and start sorting presents out! Awww, Ulla is so dress-upable (a new word for my ever expanding dictionary)! That's a shame that your Halloween didn't go as planned, but of course, it could have been much worse. The doggies do look spiffy as steeds for their ghoulish fixtures. Our weather was fine, but still no trick-or-treaters. People just don't seem to get into the swing of it so much over here. Oh well, more sweets for us!

I've got a list going (so what else is new?!) of all my gift ideas for people, and places I might order/buy from. Trouble is, so many of them are sites that continuously add new items, and I always feel that I have to wait 'til the last minute, or something even better may get added. D8 Fortunately there are usually deals for guaranteed Christmas delivery if you order by the 22nd or whatever. And I'm a lightning-fast wrapper, so that helps. XD Now that Thanksgiving's past, Santa has come to town (a mighty convincing one bringing up the rear of the parade, anyway), and the Christmas season's officially begun, I have started singing the songs/listening to the music (and my favorite radio station plays nothing but Xmas songs from now 'til then), and watching the movies & specials (and commercials!) on TV. ^w^ "Dress-upable!" I love it! Hear that, Ulla? You've inspired yet another brand-new word! It'll be in all the dictionaries within a year and half. =D ^__^ They were good little Howloween ponies. Aww, guess we both had extra candy this year--at least there's that upside. n.n Oh, and this is the pic of the (annoying, according to her, but cute) Christmas bells that didn't show up for whatever reason...maybe I forgot to paste it...!

N'awww Ulla in her jingle bells = so cute! She looks really young in that photo. I wrote a Christmas gift list, but ended up scrapping it as I keep changing my mind about what to get people! I have a fair idea of what most people will be receiving from me though. After a while of having no idea whatsoever what I should get for my little two-year-old niece, I was thrilled to discover that she's becoming rather fond of My Little Pony- so I don't think it'll be hard for me to find something special for her after all!

Nice costumes! I agree that Elvis looks like an alien. Bella looks mildly insane in her picture As for Ulla and Rusty and Jack, very nice. My favourite is the second one of Ulla. But is it just me, or is there something somewhat disturbing in the background of the 'Two Hippies' picture? Yes, yes there is. That is a bloody scary-looking pumpkin. (I have emerged from lurkerdom. Happy, Rita?)

Bella's Christmas pictures from last year, she hasn't yet had the torture- I mean, pleasure, this year. I might try and make her a little costume, she seems to actually quite enjoy dressing up. photo sharing websites

^W^ She was; that was her first Christmas, so she was only seven months old. Since then she’s decided to just try and pull the bells off with her teeth. D; She’s a pretty good dresser-upper, but she could be a bit more enthusiastic. Usually she’s only really interested in doing exactly what *she* wants to do. Truthfully, though, I think I can understand about those cuffs. They must have shrunk or been made for TINY dogs, though. They don't stretch very widely at all, and constrict almost all of my plushies' legs--even the small, thin ones. Ulla's legs are obviously mad skinny, but no wonder she tries to pull those things off right away...they must be terribly, uncomfortably tight. :/ (So for now, Poodie's wearing the jingle-bell collar again, and Pinkie Pup the Webkinz Chinese Crested has the "wrist cuffs"--her floofs of paw-fur keep them up! Ulla will be wearing the collar soon. It's big on Pood, but I don't think it should be too tight on her.) Could try the cuffs on Jack, but honestly, his legs are probably just as thick as hers. xD I'll see whether they fit; if they do and actually stay on, he'll be jingling up a bloody storm!!
I’m having a hard time deciding about a lot of things on my list, too…I’m always concerned about new things being added in the meantime, and yet, I don’t want stuff that I feel somewhat confident about get sold out. D8 Oh, lovely—ponies are totally taking over the world, and any fan of theirs shouldn’t be too hard to buy for…+3
Mildly insane is good. Completely insane can be great, too. XD She looked more ecstatic than I think I’ve ever seen a costume-wearing dog look…like, “Wow, you guys!! Halloween is such awesome holiday!!”
=} Thanks! Yes, we actually have two of those intimidating Jack-o’-lanterns. We turn ‘em around for the rest of the season so they just look like regular pumpkins. ;3
Bella looked stunning in that garlandy dress!! Very Gala-worthy!! =D

I'm sure there are some people who WOULD say that Bella is completely insane, I prefer to think of her as pleasantly nutty. I think My Little Ponies may have to wait as a present for my little niece, I'd be a bit concerned about the little pieces as she isn't quite three yet. Pillow Pets may be the thing this year for both my niece and nephew (I'm thinking a unicorn for one, and a dinosaur for the other). My younger sister is another person who is easy and fun to buy presents for because she obsesses over a lot of things, much like myself. Other people can be more of a challenge! Here's Bella's 'Christmas card' photo for this year: pic hosting

Completely insane, pleasantly nutty...both can be good things in my book...we're all mad here! >D
Oh, true, if she's that young then the plastic toys are a bit too advanced. I was gonna say, plushes would be great! I can sing the praises of the rainbow unicorn Pillow Pet, who is extremely soft and cute and comfy. A great pillow AND a great pet. ^^
I hear that!! As a total obsesser myself, I am by far the easiest person in my family to shop for...I try not to see it as greed, but rather, helpfulness on my part. I can assemble actual lists so that you never need to wonder what to get me. xD The kind of stuff I like is pretty clear and obvious, and people know it when they see it. On the other hand, I sometimes have my work cut out for me trying to figure out what in the heck I should get for certain other people. =p I'd rather give a cool gift than just a gift card for the same amount, but I guess sometimes you're better safe than sorry...
How elegantly festive!! Marvelous!! 8-D A nice refreshing break from the usual "Here's me and my family and the non-fur-babies in a not-very-Christmasy shot" photo cards. XD
Speeeaking of cards and presents, could you shoot me a PM on here with your address? I don't know how long things take to get to Australia. I imagine it's a while (given my experiences with shipping to and from the UK!); if you get a Christmas package sometime in January or February, we apologize in advance. ^,^'
